Project overview
The customer's CaseIH MX tractor exhibited significant oxidation. He sought to restore the hood to optimal condition for auction.
Despite the original decals being discontinued, BK Industrial Coatings successfully located a supplier specializing in rare equipment decals.
What we accomplished
BK Industrial Coatings removed old decals using heat guns and 3M eraser wheels, then applied a multi stage polish to eliminate extensive paint oxidation and fading.
After new decals were affixed, a ceramic coating was applied to the entire surface for protection against future oxidation and acid etching from chemical and organic substances.
