I prepare the surface, restore faded paint, and apply a protective coating that makes the equipment easier to clean and helps preserve its finish.
Protect the finish you have
New equipment can be coated before it goes to work. Older equipment often needs polishing and oxidation removal first. That preparation is part of the job.
The coating helps slow oxidation and adds a barrier against weather and chemical exposure. You'll still need to wash the machine. Coating won't repair peeling paint, remove rust, or prevent rock chips.

Coverage includes the hard-to-reach areas
A bracket behind an access panel still collects residue. On a sprayer, I work through those areas as well as the hood and outer panels. That's why a full sprayer takes close to a week.

Preparation comes first
Clean and inspect
I remove bonded contamination and check the paint. Existing rust or lifting paint needs attention before coating.
Restore the finish
I polish faded and oxidized paint before applying the coating. The amount of correction depends on the condition and remaining paint.
Apply and cure
I use hand and spray application to suit the surface and access. I'll give you the return-to-work and washing times for the product and shop conditions.

The product has to suit the equipment
I use products including Roar AG, Cerakote MC-2200, Cerakote MC-5500, and IGL Aegis. Paint, glass, metal, and plastic can need different products, especially where agricultural chemicals or heat are involved.
Qualifying installations carry my three-year performance guarantee. Sprayer jobs include one inspection and touch-up visit in each of those three years. Read the guarantee details.
